2) Why do we avoid what I call “audience fallacies” and “authorial fallacies” in our writing? Define each, provide a brief example of each, and explain the significance. (50-75 words)
An audience fallacies makes the assertion that the audience will respond to work in a certain way. "e.g. This piece makes the the viewer feel sad" that is incorrect because you never know how the audience may view things and respond.
Authorial fallacies work in a similar way in the fact they may form an argument or make a statement in their work based on an assumption an example of this is saying "he belongs to a rich fraternity, therefore he s also rich," this is a generalization that may sound logical but has no solid proof behind it, it is simply an assumption.
